Job Opportunities at the Harold S. Swindle Public Library
The City of Nicholson seeks customer service oriented applicants for a part-time Library Assistant at the Harold S. Swindle Public Library. This position does require evening and Saturday hours.
Library Assistants are responsible for providing checkout, information and support services for library patrons of all ages. This includes providing computer assistance, shelving books, checking books in and out and other duties as assigned. This person is often the patron’s first contact for all aspects of library service.
Qualified applicants will have public library or retail experience and have strong computer skills. Position requires creating promotional material for library programs. Possession of a high school diploma is required, some college preferred. The City of Nicholson will consider other combinations of education and experience that provide the necessary knowledge and skills.
