LIBRARY PASSES

Alliance Theatre Community Ticket Pass

The Alliance Theatre is Atlanta’s national theater, expanding hearts and minds onstage and off. Founded in 1968, the Alliance Theatre is the leading producing theater in the Southeast, reaching more than 165,000 patrons annually. The Alliance delivers powerful programming that challenges adult and youth audiences to think critically and care deeply. The Alliance Theatre is a recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award® in recognition of sustained excellence in programming, education and community engagement.

Community Ticket Pass

  • When checked out and used to purchase tickets to an Alliance performance, the Pass is good for up to four (4) free admissions/tickets.

  • Patrons check out the Pass and use the code on the Pass to purchase tickets at alliancetheatre.org. The promo code is entered before selecting the desired performance date on the Alliance Theatre website and should be entered in the right-hand corner of the screen.

  • Tickets for performances are available on a first come, first serve basis.

  • The Community Ticket Pass MUST be presented at the Alliance Theatre along with the ticket receipt to the performance.

  • Limit of one (1) performance per checkout.

  • Patrons using the Community Pass must use their pass during the circulation period and can only book tickets for an Alliance production up to fourteen (14) days from the checkout date. Renewing the Pass does not allow for an additional set of tickets.

  • The Pass is valid for productions on the Hertz or Coca-Cola stages ONLY and may not be used for other performances, classes, camps, programming, or events.

  • Limit of one (1) performance per checkout.

  • Check out period is seven (7) days with one (1) renewal. 

  • Holds are not allowed.

  • Pass Replacement Fee: $75

Atlanta History Center
Atlanta History Center Pass

The Atlanta Historical Society was founded in 1926 to preserve and study Atlanta history. In 1990, after decades of collecting, researching, and publishing information about Atlanta and the surrounding area, the organization officially became the Atlanta History Center.

What began as a small, archival-focused historical society grew over the decades to encompass 33 acres of curated Goizueta Gardens, four historic houses, varied programming, and a range of signature and temporary exhibitions housed in the Atlanta History Museum .

Library Pass

  • Visit the Center's website for current hours of operation. 

  • You must check the Pass out and take it to the Center. The Pass is good for six (6) free admissions to the museum. 

  • The Pass is presented at the museum for the free admissions OR patrons can pre-purchase tickets online with the Center’s website using the code on the back of the pass itself. The pass MUST be presented along with the online purchased tickets to gain free admissions.

  • The Pass is for general admission only and is not valid for special events or exhibits.

  • The Family Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

Breman Museum
Center for Puppetry Arts
Breman Museum Family Pass

The Breman, Atlanta's Jewish Museum is home to the permanent exhibition Absence of Humanity: The Holocaust Years, 1933-1945; the Blonder Family Gallery dedicated to Southern Jewish History; and the Schwartz Gallery, which hosts a variety of traveling and rotating exhibitions. The Museum Library and Cuba Family Archives add to the on-site offerings while The Weinberg Center for Holocaust Education provides a wonderful educational resource for students, teachers, and lifelong learners.

Chattahoochee Nature Center
Passport to Puppetry Pass

The Center for Puppetry Arts is a unique cultural treasure — a magical place where children and adults are educated, enlightened and entertained. Since 1978, the Center has introduced millions of visitors to the wonder and art of puppetry and has touched the lives of many through enchanting performances, curriculum-based workshops, and the hands-on Museum, as well as Digital Learning and Outreach Programs.

Passport to Puppetry

  • The Passport admits four (4) people to the World of Puppetry Museum OR a patron can receive a 25% discount on an All-Inclusive Ticket. By using the code LIBRARY, patrons may prepurchase their All-Inclusive ticket online in advance of their visit at www.puppet.org/buy-tickets.

  • An All-Inclusive ticket is for one (1) person and includes:  a Family Series Performance, a Create-A-Puppet Workshop, and the admission to the Museum. 

  • The Passport to Puppetry has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • Holds are not allowed on the Passport

  • Passport to Puppetry Replacement Fee:  $32

The Chattahoochee Nature Center's mission is to connect people with nature. At the center you can explore metro Atlanta’s nature destination. Enjoy trails, exhibits, programs, and events on 127 acres of forest, wetland, and river habitat. on the Chattahoochee River, an experience, unlike any other Atlanta attraction.

Family Pass

  • You must check out the Pass and bring it with you to the Center. The Family Pass is good for four (4) free admissions to the Center.

  • The Family Pass is for general admission only and is not valid for special events or exhibits.

  • The Family Pass may be used during the CNC’s normal operating hours.

  • The Family Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • There are no holds on the Pass

  • You may only check out the Pass once every four months per family.

  • The Chattahoochee Nature Center reserves the right to limit the Pass to one use per four months per family.

  • The Chattahoochee Nature Center reserves the right to limit the Pass to one use per family per day.

  • Pass Replacement Fee:  $45

Computer Museum of America

The Check It Out Challenge is all new for Summer 2024!

This program is available to children and young adults, grades K-12.

Participants must read five (5) books to complete the challenge. Participants then visit hawks.com/checkitoutreading, fill out the form, and with the purchase of an adult ticket they receive a free youth ticket to one (1) select Hawks game. Tickets will be delivered via email towards the beginning of the season.

Computer Museum of America Pass
In the past half century, computing has grown from a few gadgets to an almost universal extension of human life. Yet while computing has become commonplace, the history of its innovation is being lost every day, as ‘old’ technology is discarded, recycled or consigned to the landfill.
The Computer Museum of America (CMoA), located in Roswell, was created to preserve this history, and educate visitors on the past and future of computing, empowering the innovators of tomorrow.

Georgia Parks & Historic Sites

Georgia State Parks and History Sites Pass

The Department of Natural Resources’ Division of State Parks & Historic Sites manages more than 60 properties that preserve the state's environment and history. From the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Colonial Coast, our sites offer an exceptional variety of resources from mountains, lakes, and fields to battlefields, historic homes and native american sites.

Through these sites, we provide important habitat for plants and animals, give people a place to enjoy the outdoors, and protect historic places where future generations can learn about the past.

ParkPass/Historic Site Family Pass

  • The ParkPass consists of a hanging tag that allows free parking at all of Georgia’s state parks and historic sites.

  • The Historic Site Family Pass allows two (2) free admissions into any of Georgia’s historic sites.

  • The passes have a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • No holds are allowed on the Passes.

  • The ParkPass hangtag is for parking only. Not admissions.

  • The Historic Site Family Pass is for General Admission Only. It is not valid for special events, tours, or program fees.

  • The ParkPass and Historic Site Family Pass may only be checked out once every four months per family. 

  • The Historic Site Family Pass may only be used once per day, per site, per family.

Hat Trick for Reading

The Go Fish Education Center, operated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division and is core to the Go Fish Georgia Initiative. The Center’s facilities, programs and outreach directly support the Initiative’s mission to promote and enhance boating and fishing tourism in Georgia and to boost economic development in communities across the state.

Family Pass

  • You must check out the Pass and bring it with you to the Center. The Family Pass allows up to four (4) free admissions to the Center.

  • The Family Pass  has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • No holds are allowed

  • The Family Pass may only be checked out by family once every six months. The Center reserves the right to deny entry to patrons who continually check out the Pass.

  • Family Pass Replacement Fee:  $20

Students K-12 can read three books to earn a ticket to a Gladiators game! Once a student has read their books, click the button below to head to their website and register. Readers will earn a free ticket to select games with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Macon Museum Pass

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, is the country’s largest state sports museum. The Museum of Arts & Sciences includes the Discovery House (with three floors of interactive exhibits,) the Planetarium and Observatory with multiple showtimes daily, and Science on a Sphere, a room-sized, global display system that uses computers and video projectors to display planetary data onto a six-foot diameter sphere. The Tubman Museum celebrates African American art, history and culture, the largest museum in the nation dedicated to educating people about the Art, History and Culture of African Americans. This pass lets you experience them all!

Macon Museum Pass

  • The Macon Museum Pass admits up to four (4) people to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Arts and Sciences, and Tubman Museum.

  • The Family Pass is for general admission only and is not valid for special events or exhibits.

  • The Macon Museum Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • Holds are not allowed.

  • Pass Replacement Fee:  $100

  • Exhibit Value per Visit:  $350

Michael C. Carlos Museum Pass

Set in the heart of Emory’s Atlanta campus, the Michael C. Carlos Museum is a dynamic, interdisciplinary center for the study of art and culture, with collections from Africa; ancient Egypt, Nubia, and the Near East; ancient Greece and Rome; the Indigenous Americas; and South Asia; as well as American and European Works on Paper. They have the largest ancient art collection in the southeast. 

 

Family Pass

  • When checked out, the Pass is taken to the Michael C. Carlos Museum on the Emory University campus where it allows up to six (6) free admissions to the museum. Children must be accompanied by parents.

  • The Family Pass is general admission only and cannot be used for other museum offers such as renting the audio tour or special exhibits or special programming.

  • The Family Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days and may be renewed once.

  • Holds are not allowed.

  • Family Pass Replacement Fee:  $50

  • Exhibit Value per Visit:  $350

Shakespeare Tavern Pass

The home of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company, the Shakespeare Tavern® Playhouse has an enchanting history and a prime location in downtown Atlanta. The Atlanta Shakespeare Company is a bright and talented group of professionals who interpret, direct, produce and perform the works of William Shakespeare...and much more! ASC specializes in a theatrical approach called ‘Original Practice.’ Whether the company presents an original piece, an American classic, or a timeless masterpiece by William Shakespeare, each production is a process that begins with the way the play was originally staged in its own time and ends with a modern audience experiencing the play in a manner consistent with its creator's original intent.

Family Theatre Pass

  • The Family Theatre Pass allows for up to four (4) free tickets to a performance at the Shakespeare Tavern OR four (4) free box seat tickets to a tiered seating performance.

  • ​To reserve free tickets using the Pass:

  • The Family Theatre Pass MUST be presented at the Shakespeare Tavern Box Office to receive free tickets.

  • All tickets redeemed using the Family Theatre Pass are for general admissions ONLY and may not be used for special events or food or beverages. Other restrictions may apply.

  • Tickets are available on first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available for closing weekend performances or non-Atlanta Shakespeare Company productions, such as companies renting the Playhouse.

  • Free tickets may not be transferred to someone else.

  • The Pass has a circulation period of seven (7) days including one renewal, so the Pass can be available for fourteen (14) days.

  • Tickets available through the Pass are ONLY available within the fourteen (14) day circulation period, so patrons MAY NOT select a performance any further out than those fourteen (14) days the pass is available.

  • There is a limit of one (1) performance per circulation. Renewing the Pass does not allow for an additional performance.

  • Replacement fee: $60

Wrapped Up in Reading!

During the summer, the Michael C. Carlos Museum offers “Wrapped Up In Reading.” Children who read five books from the Summer 2024 Book List and return their completed Reading Diary, signed by a guardian, to the museum will receive prizes and free admission. Click the mummy for more information!

Zoo Atlanta Family Pass

NEW! JULY 1, 2024

When you check out the Library Pass, you will be given a Voucher to accompany the Pass. The Pass & Voucher are redeemable for up to four (4) general admissions.

  • Both the Voucher and the Pass MUST be presented at Zoo Admissions to receive free admissions. You may be denied your free admissions without both.

  • You may be asked to present your library card along with the Pass & Voucher. Please be sure to bring your library card with you.

  • The Pass & Voucher are redeemable Monday through Sunday during normal Zoo operating hours. The Pass & Voucher are not redeemable for major holidays. See Voucher for blackout dates.

  • The Pass & Voucher are for general admissions ONLY and may not be used for parking, concessions, or rides. They do not provide admission to special events, programs or encounters that require a fee outside of daytime general admission. They are not valid with any other offer or promotion and may not be redeemed for cash.

  • The Voucher is for a one-time use only.

  • Families or groups may only check out the Pass once per year.

  • The Pass & Voucher are checked out for seven days with one renewal. This means you have up to fourteen (14) days to use the Pass & Voucher.

  • You may not place a hold on the Library Pass like you can with books or other items.

  • Be sure to visit zooatlanta.org/tickets/ to check for hours of operation, parking, and other important information.

  • If you lose your Voucher, you must return to your library with the Library Pass. If the Pass is not overdue, the library will issue you a new Voucher. You can only receive one replacement Voucher. The replacement cannot be issued over the phone or via email; it must be done in person.

  • If you lose the Library Pass, you will be subjected to a replacement fee of $50.

  • Most families should plan to spend between three and four hours at the zoo to see its many highlights.

  • Code of Conduct-By using the Library Pass you are agreeing to abide by the Zoo Atlanta Rules while you are visiting. If you are found to be in non-compliance by the Zoo, you are subject to the consequences laid out in their respective policies. Zoo Rules can be found at: zooatlanta.org/visit/rules/
